About

I have many years of experience working on cars. I started my career by owning a shop in Tucson, Arizona. At my shop I restored and worked on hot rods and muscle cars. The opportunity came up for me to go and work for the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA), and spent the next 12 years working for the NHRA. I spent my first year with Doug Herbert racing. The next 11 years were spent working for Don Prudhomne racing. I worked on the Miller Lite Team of Larry Dixon doing the clutch. I won two championships while working for Don Prudhomne Racing. After 12 years working for NHRA I decided to get back to my true hobby of restoring and working on hot rods and muscle cars.

I opened Walt's Hot Rod Shop in Brownsburg, Indiana and have been in business for the past 3 years. I have been lucky that my business has been growing in this economy and recently moved from a 1,600 square foot complex to now a 5,000 square foot complex.

In my spare time I enjoy working on my own cars. I have a 69 camaro that just participated in PINKS at the ORP in Indianapolis. I also am currenlty restoring a 72 chevy pickup.
