Originally from Knox, Indiana, Tom Bridegroom still is and always will be a small town boy with both feet firmly planted on the ground. After graduating from Culver Military Academy at the age of 18, he moved to England on an English Speaking Union Scholarship in search of worldly knowledge and adventure, the kind that couldn't be found within the confines of the Indiana cornfields. In 2001, Tom returned to the states to attend Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Having always had the itch for a career in the entertainment industry, it was during Tom’s time at Vassar that he decided to make the long awaited and highly anticipated move to Los Angeles. Thousands of miles away from his family and friends, Tom quickly adjusted to life in the big city and has been making a name for himself every step of the way. Many people first discovered him in 2005 when Teen People Magazine featured Tom as the Hot Boy Next Door in their October issue. In the summer of 2007, he made his national debut as the host of MTV’s “The X-Effect.” (xeffect.mtv.com) He has also appeared in numerous commercials and print ads nationwide.
