With a background and training in dance, musical theater as well as plays, and stunt work in the film and television industry, Rachel is a consummate actress, dancer, stunt double and martial artist. Extremely professional and capable, she has been performing professionally since she was 15. Oh and she loves to travel!

In the summer of 2007 Rachel gained the interest of Discovery Channel when she sent in a pitch for a co-host spot on one of their hit shows. Pleased with what they saw the folks in the office of the SVP of Programming are waiting for the right show to screen test her. Another project she is currently interested in developing is Travel Fit, a half hour made for cable or satellite network travel/fitness show. Did we mention she loves to travel (read on to find out where she's going next)?

Born and raised in Ft. Worth, Texas, Rachel has lived in southern California for over ten years. Rachel’s background is heavy in professional theater, with some of her favorite shows being A Christmas Carol, the national tour she did for two seasons, one season of which she choreographed; and also My Fair Lady with Noel Harrison (Rex Harrison’s son). Rachel has been trained as a dancer all her life and branched into theater, acting and singing as a teen.

Even more impressive are Rachel’s stunt credits. With five years worth of experience in the stunt industry in the television/film world in Los Angeles, including credits on Alias, the hit ABC show, Point Pleasant for FOX, her favorite experience to date, was as Kristen Stuart’s stunt double in the feature film Panic Room, directed by David Fincher.

Rachel studied Schu-Fu (American Kung-Fu) for over six years, and it has not only increased the worth of her work professionally, but personally as well. She’s been called a spit-fire more than once, and is incredibly confident and remarkably down to earth. A very mature persona and a very petite build sometimes make it hard for Rachel to be “typed.” Think Sandra bullock looks-wise, and Rhea Pearlman personality-wise. She has a definite sex appeal, but also a very classical sense of deportment and poise (until she “pads up” to spar, that is).

As a young ballet student in Ft. Worth, Texas, Rachel knew that her desires for a creative career were going to dominate her life. After injury set in too early for her dreams of becoming a professional ballet dancer to materialize, Rachel began studying jazz and modern along with hip-hop, dancing briefly with two Ft. Worth based modern dance companies before moving to the West Coast to move to the next level.

Always wanting to hone her craft, Rachel studies still with various acting and voice teachers. And after back to back ankle surgeries in 2005, Rachel has been able to step back into the ballet studio to train again. Her interests vary, but traveling is a particular passion and Rachel is going to travel for two months this fall, beginning in September 2nd on a round-the-world trip which will include Australia, India, Israel, Italy Ireland, Britain and France . She is also an avid Tango dancer.

One of Rachel’s future goals is to partner with a screen-writer to develop and dramatize the story of her father’s death which took place when Rachel was only one year old, and the story of which she is currently working on the manuscript for.
