About
I'm a wife, mom and a pastry chef. Well that's what I went to school for. After my second child I pursued my dream to become a Pastry Chef and attended CSCA, Le Cordon Blue in Pasadena, CA. I received my diploma in Patisserie and Baking with high honors and have been baking non-stop eversince....i have carpel tunnel syndrome to prove it :( . I've been blessed and have worked at many diverse places including a Casino, grocery chain and a Hotel Resort in Palm Dessert. Currently I'm a baker with Bon Appetit Management Co. and I love it. I'd rather be a stay at home mom now while my kids are little, but that's not possible. The economy has affected us too and my husband was laid off from his job almost a year ago. We trust in God and know he has a plan. My husband is now pursuing a career in law enforcement, which is a dream of his, and i'll support him in whatever he wants to do.
I just started an exercise program after being on hiatus from the gym for 10 years. I found that i was putting on the pounds in this profession and my clothes were not fitting the way they use to :(. I have to taste everything I make, what a job :). I'm on the praise team at our church and play the piano. Music is a passion on mines. I've played in churches for over 24 years. I also play the flute and learning the guitar. I have two beautiful kids who i just want to give the world to. I wish I had more time with them. But life is good and God is good. He is in control of everything.
I leave you with one of my favorite food quotes..."One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating." ...Luciano Pavorotti.
Have a wonderful day!
