I grew up in the historic village of Caerleon, in the green valleys of South Wales. After completing high school and college I set off to explore the world, and left the British Isles to work as a crew officer on various cruise ships around the Bahamas, Caribbean, and the American Pacific and Mexican coasts. I lived in Colombia for 5 years learning about the latin culture and language, before moving to Houston in 2000
