About

Melissa Cole is a burgeoning young television host and reporter on the verge of national renown. A graduate of New York University, Melissa has channeled her studies in broadcast journalism, politics, and Italian into several freelance positions in media, most recently as a casting associate for “Room Raiders 2.0,” the new technology-driven version of the perennial MTV hit series, and as an assistant in the casting department for VH1’s “I Want to Work for Diddy 2.”

Long Island born and bred, Melissa is well known locally for her bubbly interviews with elected officials and music artists for public access and web shows. She has modeled in print advertisement campaigns and has been a competitive fixture on the state pageant, recently named second runner up in the 2010 Miss Long Island USA pageant. This year, Melissa added voice actress to her resume, lending her signature voice to the upcoming indie short “The Secret Friend” by acclaimed director Flavio Alves.

The perpetual intern, Melissa has spent many semesters behind the scenes at the Fox News Channel, HDNet, and on projects for PBS, MTV and VH1, but she’s just been itching to get in front of the camera!

Today, Melissa works for a nationally syndicated talk radio show and is the executive producer and host of the award-winning talk/variety cable access show, “The Melissa Cole Show.” Melissa’s show airs every Wednesday at 6 AM ET on Long Island Cablevision Channel 20.
