In September 2008 I started a luxury blog Lela Luxe. I go out a lot and am always meeting new people in the fashion, entertainment, and media industries...therefore I decided to put my social life to work!

At Lela Luxe I discuss high fashion trends, entertainment news, I provide insider info to secret sample sales, private events and lots of other fabulous perks.

Lela Luxe is for those that love luxury and are jet-set minded. They love to be the first to know what's hot & up and coming in worlds of fashion, art entertainment, and glamour in NYC & beyond.

On a more personal level:
I was born and raised in NYC. My parents are both from the Dominican Republic, making me a first generation American. Before Lela Luxe I owned a boutique investment firm.

I appreciate culture, love to travel, love fashion, NYC Nightlife and socializing.

*HOWEVER*: Although I'm well-versed in the worlds of fashion, art and entertainment, I feel like I don't "look" the part. I attend many private events, including most of New York Fashion Week's major shows and red carpet events...and feel as if I don't tend to apply the time and care needed to myself as I do to my readers and close friends.

I can tell you all about Chanel's latest collection and where Madonna purchased her latest pad in NYC, but I can't dress myself. This affects my mood and experience at the events I attend.

I know that by revamping my style with the help of Lloyd Boston I can better represent my brand, boost my self-confidence, enjoy events 100%, and look better in pictures!
