As a freelance video journalist Leslie has explored places such as Cuba, Brazil, Costa Rica, South Africa, Tanzania, India, Vietnam, Hong Kong/China, South Korea and Japan.
• Leslie was one of four "Eco Road Trippers" sponsored by Microsoft for the LIVE EARTH concert. She spent 7 weeks she traveling across the country using all public transportation and bicycles. Along the way, she and her 3 teammates did service projects and outreach events in 10 cities (from Seattle to NYC) to inspire and share with people how they can live more sustainable, eco-friendly lives. During their journey the eco-trippers blogged and produced mini-pods about their adventures.
• Leslie has a degree in Visual Communications and International Studies from American University in Washington, DC.
