My name is Kami, I'm 19 years old and I live between Milwaukee and Chicago.
GAMING:
My first console was an NES when I was probably about 3 years old and my first crush was on Mario. I received an SNES for Christmas when I was about 5(it was the Donkey Kong Country bundle pack, I'd upload the photos for you guys if I had a scanner EDIT: sorry about the blurriness, but the photo is up! See the last one on the bottom row! Haha).
Throughout grade school, I became a PC gamer, focusing much of my time on the PC versions of Final Fantasies 7 and 8(as well as a long, heavy stint in emulating). I also bought an Atari 2600 at a garage sale with two working joysticks, two working paddle controllers, and about twenty games. We didn't have much when I was a kid, so I was always a little behind, which has caused me to favor the "retro" games.
I got a PS2 for my 13th(I think) birthday, with Gran Turismo 2: A-Spec. It changed my life forever. I still have my first PS2, I peel it apart every so often to dust it out and adjust the lasers and voltage, but it's my baby. After receiving it, I waited nearly a whole day in line to pick up Final Fantasy X on it's release date, and played it for 20 hours straight(nothing but Mountain Dew and not even pausing for bathroom breaks).
So, if you haven't figured it out, my favourite games are the Final Fantasies. I have played 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10,10-2,12, Mystic Quest, LEgends 2 and 3, Tactics, and Tactics Advance. I currently own a PSP, DS, and my PS2. Most of my other consoles have been left at my mother's home since she and I had a falling out shortly after my 18th birthday. Currently, I'm saving for a PS3, Wii, and a deposit on an apartment.
I used to work at a video game/cd/dvd store(an FYE) and it made me a HUGE people person. I love meeting people, talking about anything and everything, and going out. I used to host a podcast at my high school and my dream is to become either a radio personality or a news anchor or journalist. Maybe everything. I've been writing and performing in public since childhood, and I am hardly camera shy. I will try to procure a video camera to upload my audition video soon, but until then, thanks guys and I appreciate the votes!!!
Also, the info on the side... I'm actually 4'10.5" and my eyes changes colour so much, I don't even know what to call them anymore! I was bleached-blonde for two years(hence, all the blonde photos) but went back to brunette last month. Also, I realy am 19, I have NO clue why it says I'm 20.
And a HUGE shout out to all my friends and fellow members at TVG(www.talkvideogames.com) the BEST gaming forum on the web. I used to moderate there and I love all the guys there to DEATH!
Currently playing: Final Fantasy III DS(again), Animal Crossing DS, Mister Mosquito(again), and Earthbound for SNES(again).
