About
I won Rolling Stone’s College Journalism Competition for Entertainment Reporting...check me out in the Nov. issue! I had to say that first because I am so excited! I wrote an article on Ryan Seacrest and the editors of Rolling Stone choose me! I've rocked TV with exclusive interviews, coupled with an inside look at the hottest trends and people in Los Angeles. I've reported on the top stories in sports, entertainment, politics, news and travel.
Recently, I appeared as a re-occurring guest host on KNBC’s Your LA, which showcases hidden hotspots in Southern California.
I'm a California girl who loves sports, playing guitar, traveling, politics, concerts, sushi, the beach, snowboarding, 80s work-out videos and meeting new people. I am also a huge poker fan since I placed 5th in a Celebrity Poker Tournament at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival (I am obviously so not a celeb but 2 dropped out so the reporter filled in!)
I've reported on the 2006 Rose Bowl, Los Angeles elections, various movie premieres, press junkets and I've interviewed athletes on pro teams including the Lakers and Kings. I've helped behind the scenes covering the Academy Awards, Grammy’s and Golden Globes.
I've been published in multiple publications and websites including Sports Illustrated on Campus and written about Lakers player Luke Walton, Giants pitcher Barry Zito, celebrity DJ Steve Aoki, 2004 World Series Poker Champion Greg Raymer and Ryan Seacrest. I am also working for Men's Fitness Magazine on their Olympic preview.
I graduated from USC this year, receiving a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. Go Trojans!!!
