About
I had the incredible pleasure of living and working in Japan on and off for about six years. During this time I became very knowledgeable and efficient in the best and proper ways to cater to the Japanese guest; right down to learning the language. I also did two D.O.D. USA tours in Germany, Iceland, the Azores Islands and the Mediterranean. As an entertainer, I believe that my stage experiences and training have dramatically enhanced my ability to create an energetic, original and effective approach to any situation or position I am involved with; resulting in positive, productive results for both myself, my co-workers and those I represent in any type of work environment. I also aspire to become an educator of the arts. Of course, I will always be an entertainer in my heart…I’ll do community theatre till I die if it means being on stage.
I am dangerously close to completing my degree, my majors are Education (Secondary) and Theatre Arts. I also already have secured a minor in Japanese.
I am going to be a high school drama coach someday and would also like to work as a translator or in some type of Japanese environment on the down low. Eventually, if I live long enough, I would like to transcribe the written word to English. I hope to incorporate this fabulous culture into my theatre programs with Noh and Kabuki theatre.
