Building on a successful career as a communications executive in professional sports, television and technology, Kent’s presence in front of the camera has always come natural.
Kent currently serves as the “face” of Wasserman Media Group’s Sportnet.com, which encompasses skateboard.com, motocross.com, surfspot.com, swimnetwork.com and a variety of other sites where he covers the latest in action and Olympic sports. He also serves as the sports host for theBITE Network, a cutting edge network providing an insightful look at the world of news, entertainment and sports to restaurants nationwide.
Outside the sports realm, Kent hosts, produces and writes for TheStream.tv’s “Reality Check”, the Internet’s live interactive weekly reality television and pop culture recap. He also serves as the co-host for “Playing Politics” on Vlaze.com. Finally, Kent has recently started production on a new relationship talk show presented by SmashTube, set to air this fall. All the shows capture Kent’s quick wit and engaging presence as he keeps his audience constantly on their feet.
Prior to his move to Los Angeles, Kent served as a field correspondent/producer for the CBS’s Arizona Entertainment Weekly where he covered the hottest entertainment news throughout Arizona and worked as the in-game entertainer for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Kent was born in Toronto, Canada, raised in Phoenix, Arizona and currently resides in Venice Beach. Kent is a graduate of Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business with a Bachelor of Science (Marketing) and is currently completing his Master of Arts (Journalism) from California State University Fullerton.
