My name is Erica Lloyd, I am an optimistic, selfless, servant to fashion. I just graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications and Rhetorical Studies. Now is the time for me to pursue my dream of working in the fashion industry.

I am a freelance wardrobe stylist that has assisted celebrity stylist June Ambrose. Working for June was similar to the movie “The Devil Wears Prada.” I ran from store to showroom picking up and dropping off $10,000+ garments. I have worked on projects for Jay Z, Neo, Jermaine Dupri, Ciara, and Fantasia. I am a self-starter and I have great organizational and communication skills but most of all I am willing to learn and pride myself on being a team player with a can-do attitude.

I have had an appreciation for fashion since the age of 13 when I picked up my first copy of Vogue. A few of my dreams include launching a fashion publicity firm, opening a clothing boutique, creating a makeover television show, styling for substantial clients, and writing a book about my journey through the fashion industry. I want to expand my knowledge of every aspect of the industry.

Aside from this fashion and social savvy, I am business minded and understand the power of networking. I take every opportunity to learn about my prospective clients or investors and focus on making the connection. I have attained contacts for various departments in every field of media and fashion from positions listed on my resume.
