About
I'm a host from Wales, UK, and have just moved to Los Angeles...

My name's Elain (pronounced L-Line) and I was bought up on a sheep farm on top of a mountain in North Wales!
After completing studies in Biomedical Sciences at University in Cardiff, I realized it wasn't my calling, and decided to pursue another career...
By fate, I started hosting on a children's program on the Welsh TV channel (S4C), "Planed Plant". I scripted and hosted there for over two years, before venturing into freelance work.
Since then, I've hosted a wide range of programs - from four seasons of a Welsh BAFTA award winning program for the BBC, to a program following the WRC (World Rally Championship), and recently finishing a nature program in Uganda filming mountain gorillas and other wild animals. And I just completed filming a second series of this show in Costa Rica and Britain.
I have also recently hosted items (from LA) for a BBC program, called "Be...", and am a weekly 'LA correspondent' for a BBC radio program back in Wales.
I'm also a weekly host on "Current TV", where I host numerous items including Google Current.
