I am originally from a tiny town in Indiana and moved to New York after graduating with a Bachelor's in theatre and a minor in psychology. I am a paralegal by day and an actress and musician by night. I have been playing piano since my feet could touch the pedals and singing even longer. I started taking professional voice lessons when I was eleven, which eventually led me to being in my very first musical. I have been onstage in everything from musicals and Shakespearean theatre to experimental and political action pieces. I hope to get my Master's in Shakespeare Performance and/or Classical Acting someday. But right now I'm just enjoying life in the city!

Music has always been a huge part of my life. Everyone in my family plays some kind of musical instrument and most have a pretty nice set of vocal cords too. I started out studying classical music, but over the years my tastes have broadened immensely. I started working for Hot Topic when I was a teenager and discovered an appreciation for many different genres and artists there. After five years with them, I got to experience so much amazing music both recorded and live. My job at Hot Topic opened the door to an internship for an alternative rock radio station throughout college as a voice-over artist and event assistant. It was the best non-paying job I've ever had... free shows! I was also a roadie for a local band during my college years. I may be small, but I can load gear like nobody's business!

My other love is traveling! I love seeing new places and meeting new people. Most of all I love the thrill of experiencing something for the very first time. I've been all over the U.S., to Germany, and to Ireland twice. This summer I'm planning a trip to Italy with a pit stop in Ireland. I can't stay away from that place! They have the best hard cider! Mmmm.... Bulmers!
