The best way to describe myself is to say that I love having fun and trying new things.
My passions include karate (will certify black in April 2009 - in Daito Ryu Aiki Jujitsu and Okinawan Kenpo -- currently provisional black), scuba diving, traveling, photography, and fire spinning.
Life hasn't always been easy. I've managed to overcome six years of a mysterious stomach ailment called gastroparesis that left me unable to work. Two years ago, I noticed that I was starting to feel better and ever since then I have not looked back. I went back to college as a full time nontraditional student and have maintained a 4.0 GPA. Today, I look and feel my best.
I don't regret the hand that has been dealt to me throughout life. In fact, I've learned from it and have plans to write a book. My personal motto: "Never look back."
