A versatile writer and performer from Toronto, Canada, Laura is a graduate of the prestigious Second City Conservatory Program. Laura returned as an Instructor with Second City's Education Dept. until her move to New York in 2006.
She has been a producer, emcee and host of several comedy shows including Danny Aiello’s ‘Danny’s Upstairs’ Comedy Club in Hoboken, NJ and ‘Laura’s Laugh Library’ in Toronto.
Her television and film appearances include George A. Romero’s “Bruiser” and “The Buzz” on the Comedy Network.
Laura’s live performances include opening for Emo Phillips at the Funny Bone; Second City; Yuk-Yuks; Caroline’s; The Improv and Playbar (U.K.)
She has written for a number of organizations including Guardian Entertainment, and L(earn)2.
Laura is featured on The Dish- she has her own weekly entertainment segment ‘On Deck’ every Friday aired on The Baseball Channel or on Major League Baseballs Entertainment page. She also interviews celebrities, covers red carpets/star studded events, as well as field reporting.
