Chicago native with a well traveled past. I am a chef & longtime foodie with a taste for everything & a waistline to prove it!! I have worked in kitchens from the East Coast to the Midwest & even had my own restaurant! I enjoy being in the kitchen & entertaining my friends & family. I appreciate what goes into all meals no matter what type of cuisine! I will try anything once & if I can try to reverse engineer it at home! Most times successfully, sometimes not so much!! The most important thing is that I enjoy it & I keep having friends line up to be the next guinea pigs!! I have been looking for an opportunity to have a larger kitchen & audience & I feel this can be it!! I am back & raring to go!!!
I have some experience as part of background scenes & voice overs for local TV spots, have taken a few acting classes & volunteered for student films. Looking for more time in front of the camera.

Enjoy going off the beaten path & exploring the true native forged side of all countries I've visited. It is in my nature to feel the real vibes of the people & avoid the tourist traps & 'American' restaurants! Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate a swim up bar & hot shower from time to time, but I would rather eat & drink with the natives at the local watering hole & cantina!
I also have an incredibly diverse history of experience, including basic aviation mechanics & administration, bar & kitchen experience, becoming an accomplished chef & various phases of construction including frame & finish carpentry, basic electricity & plumbing, various floor installations & interior design. I have excellent problem solving skills & can keep my head under pressure, for the most part anyway! I have been known to blow a gasket, but who hasn't?!
