On The Town in Concert w/ Full Orchestra

Staten Island Philharmonic will hold auditions for its concert production of Leonard Bernstein's 1944 musical On the Town on Monday, August 4th, Wednesday, August, 6, and Friday, August 8, 2008, from 6-9 pm.
Seeking male and female actors with strong singing abilities. Dance experience helpful, as well. Actors should bring a headshot/resume and two contrasting songs from On the Town or other early Broadway shows.
Roles include Gabey, Chip, and Ozzie, three sailors on 24-hour shore leave in NYC; Ivy Smith--"Miss Turnstiles" and Gabey's dream girl; anthropology student Claire de Loon; female taxi driver Hildy Esterhazy, and more.
Some pay.
On the Town in Concert will feature a full 25-piece orchestra, and will be held at the St. George Theatre on Saturday, September 27th, 2008, 8pm.
