Multimedia/AV Technician
Location: Chicago, IL

The Maslow Media Group seeks a Multimedia/ AV Technician in Chicago for a long term freelance assignment with a corporate client. The candidate must have no less than 5 years experience. The responsibilities of this position include:

Operation of portable audio visual equipment including LCD projectors, audio recorders, video record and playback equipment and associated screens and speakers.

Operation of P/A systems, microphones, audio mixers and amplifiers.

Familiarity with audio and video conference systems that connect through integrated room system controls, i.e.Crestron.

Understanding of software based management systems for A/V control, i.e. Creston e-control.

Scheduling all conference and meeting space.

Vendor liaison for all building and event details, i.e. room layouts, electrical/CATV placements.

Assist Event Marketing with Multimedia for road shows and events.

Manage inventory of portable multimedia equipment/laptops and setup portable equipment on request.

Coordinate and monitor video conferences.
