Casting Producer

Rebecca Mayer started her career in casting and producing while still a student at NYU where she earned her degree in Epic Literature. Her reputation for being able to spot talent started with such indie films as Getting Over It (Bigel/Mailer). She honed her producing skills by co-owning and operating an independent film company (Shake the Tree, NY) and did international deals in Europe and Asia while co-owning and running an independent record label. Having cast and produced for 13 years, she has become the go-to for start-ups from A&E's hit show Intervention, to TMZ on TV - the first website to be turned into a major television show. Rebecca has worked extensively collaborating with EP's from concept to sale, cast and story vision and she also works as a consultant to advertising agencies and private entertainment clients on projects ranging from commercial campaigns to book pitches and documentary research.
