Directer and Designers Needed
Location: Jamaica, NY
Only open to members in: New York
St. John’s University Chappell Players Theatre Group is seeking to hire a director/choreographer and full design team (scenic, lights, costume, sound) for its upcoming fall musical, Urinetown.

The Chappell Players is a non-equity, undergraduate, student-based organization whose mission it is to develop and promote theatre arts within the university and the surrounding communities.

Urinetown Dates
Student Auditions: September 2nd- 4th (5:30-11PM)
Rehearsals begin: September 6th
Show Opens: October 10th, 2008
Show Closes: October 25th, 2008

All rehearsals and performances will be held on St. John’s University Queens campus.

Salaries
Director: $2,000-2,200
Designers: $750

We will keep submitted resumes for review and possible future hires throughout our season which will include our mainstage production of The Important of Being Ernest and a TBD children’s show for elementary school audiences, both in the spring of 2009.
