Respond to this posting to reserve a time slot. Talent should come to the audition with a character prepared, using the examples included in this posting.
If you can't make our audition on July the 7th, please submit yourself performing as the character we are looking for via online video or DVD.
We will accept DVD's and online submissions until July 8, 2008.
Male, aged 40 and older.
Here are some examples of concepts we have for the ads:
1. Make up a song from your textbook! Singing songs makes the words stick to your brain. Once that beat is in your head you'll never forget it. (maybe starts to sing a song from a biology book)
2. Make up your own flash cards! Then when you get one wrong you punish yourself, maybe you electrify yourself with electricity volts. Then you won't maybe forget the next time! (awkwardly long pause with blank look)? Electricity volts, it worked for me
3. Go to your local library and get the heck off of those internet machines! Sites like Knetwit.com sure can't help you study more efficiently! Fact: They use the oil from extinct baby seals to fuel their website. Just don't go to Knetwit, ya dummy!
4. Study in your sleep?..it's a lot of wasted time?.. don't be lazy, how about study during it.
