About my videos: I understand I seemed awkward infront of my webcam in the first video. I wanted to show that I'm not always like that, and get a hosting style video up before the contest ended, but it just didn't work out that way. Just understand, I'm extremely passionate about video games -- and I can only improve.

So I thought I'd give you the run down of myself and why you should pick me. My name is Kathryn or Katy, but most gamers know me as bunnyXablaze. I'm 19 years old(This site lies about ages!), living in Basic City, Virginia.

I'm the store manager of a hybrid gaming RadioShack and a game advisor at GameStop. RadioShack as taught me everything from basic parts to home theater setups, so I'm very knowledgable in more than just gaming. I started to work at GameStop in 2005, I became very interested in the industry and attempted to start in it, with gaming tournaments at the age of 17. That basicly opened up a whole new world of gaming to me. After attending over 20+ events since then across the east coast, I found a passion for talking about video games and of course, still playing them.

My very first system was actually my brothers(How many game girls can relate to that?!). Because I'm a child of the late 80's, I was never introduced to the Atari. Sega Genesis is the name that reminds me of old school gaming, it was my first true gaming expereince. Of course, there is always the memorys of sitting infront of the tv when I was little with the Nintendo gun and shooting at the ducks, but at the time I didn't exactly know what I was doing.

As of now, I own all current gen systems (including handhelds) and all last gen systems with my game collection ranging in the 400's. Gaming turned into more than just a hobby for me when I started working at GameStop. It's really all I want to do. I don't just play video games to play them, I play videogames because they define me. I spend probably well over 30 hours a week gaming (Ontop of working over 65 hours a week!)

All the support I've received in the last 3 years has been overwhelming, including from myspace with my friends list about to break 34,000. As a gamer and a young adult I have the ability to shape the gaming culture for the next 20 years and I will!

Here's some odds and ends about me:

In 2006, I was selected as one of the 100 most interesting teenagers in the USA. (You can search 100 Young Americans on amazon to find out more about it.)

I currently write for GameGirl.com(Part of GamePro.com), a website about gaming that is written purely by girls.

I play on a team called Girls of War (3 of the 4 Girls of War are in the top ten!) We have a goal to attend the majority of MLGs (Major League Gaming) this year. We just have some issues with sponsers right now. It'll happen though!

A few of my favorite games are Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Gears of War, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath.

I'm currently playing:

On my PSP: Infected
On my 360: Assassins Creed and Mass Effect
On my PS3: Uncharted

I collect Force FX Lightsabers by Master Repelicas, I currently own 7. I was also extremely disappointed when I found out MR discontinued the FX series.

Telling by the last two tidbits, it's safe to say I'm a huge Star Wars fan. Obi Wan is an obession of mine, and I even own a rabbit named Obi.

I am a huge console gamer, but I still play PC games. Including everyones crack, World of Warcraft, I have a lvl 70, 68, and a bunch of change on two different servers.

I also drive an Black 07' Cobalt decaled like Barricade from the tranformers movie.
