GotCast's very own Eddie Mata (was cast for a Subway commercial) is currently making waves with MLB.com and their newest contest, The Gillette Rookie Reporter Showdown.

The contest, taking place on MLB.com, has selected 48 reporters as finalists from thousands of submissions. The finalists represent one of twelve Major League Baseball teams from all over the country. From the site, you're able to view the video submissions, and then vote on whoever you think should be reporting at this year's fall classic!

Eddie has recently made the move from his home in New York to follow his career and dreams in Los Angeles. He was first seen on E! Entertainment as the national winner of Ryan Seacrest's Red Carpet Challenge, and since joining GotCast he's been booked for a Subway commercial and was one of our top submissions in MLB's The Dish Casting.
