Gotcast.com and Marki Costello are looking for talent from the Los Angeles area that want to take control of their careers by learning the ins and outs of the hosting industry. This is a great opportunity for people new to the industry to learn first hand, and a way for experienced hosts to fine tune their skills.

You will get a chance to be selected to attend Marki's Hosting Bootcamp Weekend on September 20th and 21st. The bootcamp starts on Saturday at 10 a.m. and lasts until 5 p.m., continuing on Sunday, same time. During the weekend, you'll practice reading all types of host copy and learn basic techniques of television hosting. On Sunday, you'll dress up and look your best as the workspace transforms into a television studio. You'll read from a teleprompter and cue cards with a professional sound/light/camera crew, and walk away that day with a videotape of your performace. When you're done with this weekend, you will have the confidence and knowledge to audition as a television host.
