GotCast gets an exclusive blog from Lina So, star of VH1's Scream Queens....
The show has been very entertaining to say the least, however much of the things that have happened have simply been manipulated to make drama for the viewers. If you caught the most recent episode, you will see that the immunity challenge is to jump off a 2 story building! It was intense and very scary. We are actresses not stunt people and the training was simply practicing a small jump off a little ramp once and then expected to throw ourselves off a flippen building! We signed our lives away relieving producers and vh1 from any liability if we were to either die or paralyze ourselves. I was simply scared to paralyze myself because the stunt coordinator kept telling us if we landed wrong, we could hurt ourselves. The stunt woman also said she has practiced for months and have 2 years experience jumping, so if we weren't comfortable, we just shouldn't do it. Well I did it, and I didn't die. I have gone skydiving before so I wasn't scared of heights but scared of crippling myself and ruining my career.
The Party bus situation was just out of hand. They told us we were going out on the night on the town, dancing after dinner. Well dinner was a piece of sushi and a chicken skewer and lots of alcohol. Also Tanedra never said she was faded and I never said anything about ebonics, they dubbed that somehow and used my voice. Granted I don't drink nor does Tanedra, they girls were wasted and we never did get dinner. Then they told us we were going home, without us actually going out! No dancing, no music, no dinner. Nothing but alcohol and a taste of what could have been food. The girls were pissed off at producers and at each other and the insults kept rolling. what was said was out of line and they are remorseful for their comments. I was there consoling Angela and Jessica.
The directors challenge was awesome, it was the first "real acting" challenge to me and I was happy with it, but once again they didn't show the full scene and made it mediocre like they did with the first immunity challenge when I was "flopping like a fish" what they cut was my whole scene, I brought every emotion. I was angry, confused, sad, and in anguish in tears while being possessed but they didn't show anything but the convulsions. Shawnee and John both said it was between Tanedra and I. Tanedra for a moment and me for a bunch of moments and production value and using my props. Thats editing for you, make me look like an idiot. They also cut out me running in all bloody crying and asking James for a tampon hahaha
Also the controversial stunt class and racism comments. I am not a racist.
Tanedra and I are actually close friends, we speak at least once a week.
This is a reality show, so its simply for entertainment. There are many comments and situations that have been edited 14 times and spliced from different conversations to make a show. I hope this gives you some insight that nothing you see on tv is real. I did not hit her on purpose and she kicked me but it didn't hurt, I was "acting" guys. It's hilarious how they cut it though, like she killed me hahaha
Also we do joke around all the time and its all in fun, if people don't get the sarcasm factor, that is not my problem. Do all Asian people know Kung Fu? YES! j/k ok? So please get over it, I say things to get a reaction half the time but I am not serious. It's to make the ignorant folks in the world realize its b.s. so if you actually think I would say something like that on national television and mean it you are also an idiot. It's all in fun, Sarah calls me eggroll and Tanedra has asked me to make her fried rice. It's supposed to be funny, friends can joke. As for the Naomi comment, that is because she is beautiful and Soul Train is her nickname we dubbed for the show, I used to dance on Soul Train so I brought it up at the wrong time to be funny and it just became another topic. She actually sings me that song but it didn't air. VH1 loves drama and so do all of YOU! Its great for ratings!
