Dear GotCast Community,
From 2003 until August 31st, 2009, I held the position of Head of the Alternative Programming Department (a.k.a. Reality TV and New Media) at Abrams Artists Agency, which is one of the top 10 talent agencies in Hollywood. Over the years, while working alongside my mentor - the legendary Harry Abrams - I represented a wide variety of incredibly talented TV personalities and producers who have been responsible for many of America’s favorite shows. I also helped to service the casting needs of the many networks, cable outlets, studios, and production companies in Hollywood.
GotCast’s founder, Wil Schroter, made me aware of the site at the very beginning and I have grown increasingly impressed and excited about the site and its potential ever since. GotCast is now powering castings for nearly every media group in Hollywood and making it possible for people all around the country to get jobs on TV without having to make the pre-emptive move to Los Angeles or New York. What began as an innovative idea to expand Hollywood’s talent base has exploded into a site that is revolutionizing the entertainment industry.
