My interest in the paranormal is mainly with UFOs. When I was a child I imagined traveling to mysterious places and investigating paranormal events.
As an adult, I take a more skeptical view of these things. I require more proof then just a story and a few fuzzy photos.

I would be a good subject matter expert because I have a wide range of knowledge of how machines and electrical devices work.

In regards to UFOs, hard evidence needs to be found. I think that attempts to get high quality photos and video should be planned by a paranormal show. Set up people in each region of the country with high quality equipment and try to get to the site of a UFO occurrence shortly after it happens. Then stay in that area and wait for several days in case the UFO returns.

General Text About Me:

My Latest project is a Sci-fi video about a space trucker. I am building the sets and doing the 3d modeling myself along with filming, editing and just about everything else. It is going to take me at least another year to complete it.

My previous project was converting my home heating system to a custom computer controlled electric system.
Each room has a motion detector, custom temperature sensor and electric heater.
It uses motion detectors to determine if someone is in a room then increases the temperature in that room to a preset amount. When the room is empty it cools it down to a lower temperature to save money. I can remotely control this over the internet from anywhere in the world. I can also see if there is motion in each room remotely. I wrote thee programs to make the system work: a micro-controller program in c, a web application in c# .net 2.0 and a windows c# program that controls the house. I plan to automate the lighting in the future using the same system.

before that, I built a remotely operated robot. it has 4 wheels and an on board 1GHz PC along with a micro-controller and two cameras. It can be remotely controlled through a laptop with a joystick. I have a picture of it on my website www.ryonix.com

I have a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

I have worked with engineering and programming for over 10 years. I am currently working as a programmer IV for the state of Alaska. Some of my previous jobs have allowed be to work on a variety of systems including: lighting automation, water and waste water automation, North Slope and Alaska Pipeline automation systems, military contracts, telecommunication systems and load testing for mountain rescue groups.

For the last three years I have made computer controlled effects including talking pumpkins for the haunted house at my son's school.

I am less of an actor and more of a project person. I like the process of creating something.

I also like making videos. my current sci-fi video is interesting to me because of it's combination of acting, set building, computers and electronics. The project is taking a long time due to having to build 12 sets and model several space ships, but the process is so fun that I am in no hurry to finish.

I also have a collection of Macintosh Powerbooks dating from the mac portable in 1989 to the Macbook pro in 2006. I have over 30 powerbooks and a website at www.ryonix.com/powerbookmuseum
