About
Beware friends ‘my story’ will not be a tear jerking sapfest, I don’t want you pulling on your wanker and gagging thinking ‘yeah, yeah, yeah!’ we’ve heard this s___before. I Come from a poor broken home much like everyone else on this planet. I was born to Dominican/Spanish immigrant shoe factory workers. To date I’ve moved 23 times, I am a generation X-er from Brooklyn which translates into ‘quit B S-ing just give it to me short, sweet and to the point ’and No- I’m not on MySpace. Patience is not my virtue and those that have seen me behind the wheel would agree and this acting and hosting business hasn’t really helped matters much. My mami and ma (through marriage) are both Josephine’s and are equally as old school especially when it comes to acting. My Italian ma, Josephine thinks acting is like some sort of flu, she cracks me up every time she wishes me well out here in L.A. she says ‘yeah, it’s good that you go out there and get it outta ya system’ and my mami, Josefina who only speaks Spanish calls me from D.R. (Dominican Republic) wanting to know in what channel can her friends see me in. In her head because I’ve worked in television somehow I’m on every channel. LOL! I’m passionate about my family just as much as I am about cooking. Wherever I am is where the party is at. I host great dinner parties with excellent food and wine. No, I don’t have a favorite dish or recipe, I usually turn to recipes for inspiration, but somehow I never follow them ‘cause I end up putting a little bit of this and that which I think is better and my guinea pig friends (who are eating for free) love it. I do kick ass in the kitchen and I wish some magic little fairy would give me 50g’s so I could go to culinary school but until then I’ll keep playing in my kitchen.
