How can I put myself into words? I bought my dog because she looked like the wolf from Secret of Evermore, and named my dog after Teta Hyral from FFTactics. (she recently had a complex after the psp version was released).As a matter of fact, I just had the cops show up at 2am for the bass being too loud from the Nobilia market area in Secret of Evermore. I have 3 Video Game tattoos, including a Moogle and unfinished Leviathan from FFT, and Birdo. My equipment consists of a d20, an Amethyst Bracer of Jerk Warding, and a +12 Earth dmg Tree Staff. I suppose you could say I like all kinds of games. When I was 7 my Mom would leave the Nintendo on so I could beat Zelda II when I got home from school. Games provide for me a creative outlet and immersive world nothing else can. If there has been only one constant in my life, it's Video Games. I can't even begin to fathom what I would be like without them.
I don't forget to leave my house though! I like to travel to NYC often and go over to Barcade. Arcade games + Dogs + Beer. And yes, Dogs is meant in a literal fashion, not a metaphorical one. Thanks to my DS I can train Pokemon even while waiting in line to ride roller coasters, or confront my own demons in Silent Hill when opening bands suck. I dance for a Survival Horror cover band, and thanks to my love of Video Game music hang out with a number of Video Game cover bands. I love all things Horror and am a fan a number of comics such as Batman, Walking Dead, and most Marvel works. I attend cons regularly, such as MAGFest and Otakon. I was even lucky enough to go to E3 before they canned it. The more places I can go and people I can discuss Video Games with the better.
I want to be involved in the Video Game scene, but who doesn't? For the past few years I've been encouraged from friends and family to look into career paths that would allow me to work my way to the heart of the gaming scene. My strength right now is my ability to network and connect to people. I don't want to be viewed as just another gamer girl, I need to find that role that let's my voice truly be heard. This may not be the role for me, but I won't know if I don't try. Maybe in trying, I can discover something meant for me in the world of Video Games. I don't want votes for people who don't really think I could be a good on TV personality. The people in this contest who have camera personality should go to the top.
