I feel I deserve to be on this adventure because like most people trying for this,I am an avid adventurer and love the outdoors. An adventure like this is a once in a lifetime opportunity that for me is something that may not be possible for a long time, if possible at all.
Having grown up near the Beartooth Mountains in Wyoming I have enjoyed many adventures and have been looking forward to longer and grander adventures which no matter if I makes this casting or not I will continue to strive for.
I am currently going to college and just living life to have fun and as few worries as possible. I love the snow and the good times that it brings but I love the other seasons equally in their own respective ways. I like to believe that I am a fun outgoing person and will try most anything at least once. I can be shy at first but am easy to get along with and enjoy meeting new people. I enjoy myself and I figure that is what counts most. I am far from perfect and I am ok with that, but I try to learn from my mistakes even if I screw up too many times to count. I play soccer, snowboard, DH mountain bike, camp, hike, and in the last couple years started ice and rock climbing. I like long walks on the beach during sunset too ;)haha, oh yeah and just doing random things makes me happy.
Areas Of Expertise
Like I said in the "about me" I am currently a college student at Northwest Community College and am majoring in Outdoor Education and Welding. I work at Sierra Trading Post in Cody, WY as a Retail Associate, or at least that's the fancy way of saying I am a cashier/clerk. When I get chances to, I help facilitate high and low ropes courses for the college and occasionally help guide on river rafting trips.
