Ruby Lopez is an exceptionally talented and dynamic TV personality with a love for life and a knack for making people smile. Ruby’s producing and acting background along with her extensive on-camera experience makes a perfect combination for host extraordinaire. Ruby loves interviewing people on the fly, her specialty is putting them at ease with her charm, but always keeping them on their toes with her quick wit and Humor. Ruby can be thrown in any situation and create a fun and exciting show!

Ruby Grew up in the SF Bay Area with two wonderful parents, three awesome brothers and a house full of pets! As you might imagine growing up with three brothers definitely made Ruby a “tough cookie” as her father used to call her. Ruby grew up involved in many sports including playing baseball on the “boy’s team”, boxing in a male dominated boxing gym in East Oakland, Ca and then finally engulfing herself in Tae kwon Do. (A skill she now says will help her achieve her “closet” dream of starring along side Jackie Chan in a martial arts Flick). Ruby dedicates her black belt to her father who inspired her after he studied Tae Kwon do while in Korea serving our country as member of the Unites States Army.

Don’t get this tough chick wrong though, Ruby Lopez also has a “girlie” side. Ruby Lopez is former beauty queen, that’s right. Ruby won a National pageant in 2003 when she snagged the title of Ms. Latina USA. Ruby also won the honor of representing the United States in the 2004 Ms. Latina World pageant! Ruby Lopez utilized her title as a platform to mentor young girls, making appearances to speak about self-esteem and the importance of school success.

Ruby Lopez graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Radio and Television and an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism and Television Production. Ruby is a College Students in Broadcasting (CSB) Alum and also received an award from the prestigious organization, American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT).

Ruby graduated in 2005 and hit the ground running, immediately landing a gig hosting the exclusive videogame show on yahoo.com called "Reset". With “Reset”, Ruby traveled the world battling storm troopers (kind of), interviewing developers and pushing her gaming chops to the limits. In 2005-2006 Ruby demonstrated her martial arts prowess competing in MTV and MTV2’s Martial Arts competition show, “Final Fu”. Although, Ruby did not win the ultimate prize, she gave fair warning and proved to the world that she’s much more than just a pretty face. In 2005 Ruby was able to put her passion for cars and hosting to use as a pit reporter/correspondent for race series like A1GP, USAC, IRL, NHRA, and NASCAR and continues to do so today. In 2007 Ruby wrapped her first season reporting for Comcast SportsNet’s new motorsports show, "Zero to 60", where she interviewed and raced with some of the worlds tops drivers and hottest celebrities. In 2007, Ruby also became the new reporter for "49ers Total Access", a weekly show that takes you behind the scenes of the 49ers' season, this show airs on KTVU, KICU, The NFL Network and Comcast on Demand. Ruby has co-hosted a new sports show, "Outta Bounds", which covers "Bay Area Sports Outside the Box" and airs on KICU TV36 in the SF Bay Area. This season Ruby begins a new journey as In-Arena host for the Golden State Warriors, where she co-hosts a half-hour Warriors show and pumps up the crowd!

Ruby Lopez has done work for many prominent, and of course, fun companies as a producer, writer and host! Ruby is a well rounded producer with extensive experience in front of and behind the cameras. In 2006 Ruby began working at a TV Station where she produced, wrote and directed two half-hour shows and many commercial spots in the SF Bay Area. Today Ruby is using this experience to follow her dreams of producing and hosting her own show!

Ruby also has several credits as a driver, precision driver, martial artist, stunt woman and model, actress and motion capture actress.

When Ruby isn’t working, Ruby enjoys training in Tae Kwon Do, racing cars, indoor rock-climbing, going to sporting events, eating raspberry sorbet, reading, telling corny jokes and running in the fields with her dog, Mardi.
