Greetings!
My name is Mary Kate, Mario Kart or Mortal Kombat, whichever youd like to call me. :)
I'm a dedicated gamer. I am a professional 3D Artist and I love to do anything that happens to be involved with graphics and 3D/2D art. What better than the world of gaming?!
Last year I competed in the Miss Video Game 2007 contest and had a great time doing so. I have done many events involving game competitions, ran a Dance Dance Revolution gaming club during my college days and also played music from games on a radio station local to me as a ShockJock, DJ Mortal Kombat. I attended the first show of Video Games Live in 2008 in Orlando and participated in the Guitar Hero rat race during the post show.
Basically I'm a regular at Gamestop and EB every time a new game comes out. I write reviews for the games I play and discuss locally here in Florida.
I also play many game scores on piano and record them onto my computer. I can hear and play songs generally, so most of the time I will hear some excitement when I start laying down some Mario 3 tunes!
My life has been games since the day I got an SNES when I was 5. Not only do I love to play all sorts of genres on many systems, but I understand and am involved in the production and creation aspect of games.
Being involved and active on the G4 Network has always definitely been a dream of mine, so perhaps with a little luck and a +3 Strength Amulet, that dream can become a reality with this exciting opportunity. :)
