About
About me:
I work at a mobile media company (we deal with the backend side of things sent and received from a cell phone), where I'm a Service Engineer/Systems Architect. I live in the Seattle area, and I spend a lot of time gaming.
I'm not going to try to prove to you my uber-gamerness with a rundown of every game I've ever played, or how I'm so cool because I played games when I was little. But to give you an idea about my gaming habits:
I was on the alpha for Halo 3, I like the plasma gun in Perfect Dark Zero, lately my most played game is Geometry Wars (both Retro/Evolved and Galaxy Wars) and Burnout Paradise, and I hold a special place in my heart for Ratchet and Clank (the entire reason I bought a PS3). My favourite games growing up were Space Invaders, an obscure game on the Commodore64 where you had to avoid zombies and frankensteins, Super Hang-on (arcade sit-down), Space Harrier, Gauntlet, Super Mario World, and Doom. I find great joy in doing things like using the Chainsaw in Doom, or the Wrench in Bioshock as my primary weapon, rather then spraying bullets all nilly-willy. I still enjoy actual shooting games though, too, just to clarify.
