My name is Mario Alejandro. I am a writer, photographer, sports fan, and all around geek who gets more enjoyment out of old 80's films and obscure music than I do from a night out on my backyard AKA South Beach, Florida.
I currently work in the Advertising industry after five long and brutally cold years picking up dead people for the funeral industry. When word got out that I was working on a book of short stories, I was fired, sued, and ultimately black balled from the industry I gave my life to (no pun intended).
Today you can find me hard at work (at Dolphin Stadium) and on my blog, which has become somewhat of a cult hit among fans of baseball and trading cards. I am the Perez Hilton of sport blogs only not gay but with twice as many "Man Crushes".
I believe my ultimate calling is to be a writer for ESPN Magazine but will "settle" for a guest spot on 'The Dish'. I am also working hard on becoming a well-known sports photographer for the Florida Marlins, despite being looked down upon for my lack of media credentials.
