About
Larissa Wohl was born and raised in beautiful Southern California. Most of her early years were spent in the beaches of Malibu, farmers market shopping in Santa Monica, or driving through glamorous Hollywood. Seeing how Los Angeles worked first hand, gave Larissa her ambitious drive to work in the entertainment industry. During her formative years, she also developed a strong interest in creative writing, performing, and psychology.
In order to pursue her ambitions, she began taking courses in theater, voice-over work, and dramatic arts. She performed childhood plays and pursued her passions wherever possible. Her favorite acting gig, which came at the age of 10, was playing herself in a girl’s only teen talk show for Fox Family, called “Girlzopolis.” The show didn’t enjoy a long run, but it was at that point that Larissa knew she loved being herself in front of the camera.
Upon graduating from high school, Larissa was determined to continue her learning experience and moved to both Santa Barbara and San Francisco to complete her degree in television and radio with an emphasis in broadcast journalism. Upon receiving her undergraduate degree, Larissa re-located back to Los Angeles to pursue her love of news, reporting, and personality work.
Larissa is currently working at K-ABC Channel 7 News, as well as submersing herself in the pop-culture world by covering red carpet events and movie premieres for various internet web shows. She continues to devote some of her time to charity work, something she has done since childhood, and works hard to spread the word about animal rights and animal cruelty.
