9/26/2008- This is the last day of casting for "SGTL2". Thank you to every person who invested time and energy to send love, votes, well wishes and compliments my way.

As you know, the process of gathering votes is time consuming. I spent hours and hours most days communicating with members....enjoying dialog and making network connections with some awesome people.

Yes, 99% of my votes were from the members of GOTCAST. In the end, I couldn't have finished in the top 10 without your support.

My hope is for each of you to grow in grace, love well, live your dreams and to continue sharing your talents & gifts with the world.

I have an update with some things that went on with the "She's Got The Look" Casting Call. This was the strangest situation. We had a miscommunication with the Casting Director on this casting which hasn’t really happened before, although he did send us a message acknowledging the miscommunication.  
 
He gave us the casting which we posted and then later told us that he would only review people that were at the actual casting call in New York. Had we known that, we would have just posted it as such. We have anywhere from 200 – 300 active casting calls at any moment, and there is no incentive for us to post misinformation on the site for any casting.  
 
In any other case we simply forward the candidates directly to the casting director to contact. Last week, for example, E! Entertainment Television called back 14 of our submitted talents for auditions.  
 
If we had known that our members from outside the cities holding open calls were not going to be reviewed, the call would have been on the open board with many of the other opportunities we have on the site that don't deal with our electronic submissions. However, we contacted the producers of the show and still submitted all of our members and have communicated the misunderstanding with the casting directors on the project.  
 
This is the 1st time anything like this has happened with one of our featured castings, so I just wanted to reach out to everyone and offer our apologies for the mixup.

10/8/2008 at 1:10 PM		Hi, Kai. I just returned from NYC and no one out of the ten of my group got selected...they barely looked at us or our lengthy applications and questionairre-or pictures. Everyone I spoke to outside did not get picked, either. We did get to meet Beverly Johnson, Robert Verdi and the President of Wilhemina--as we were standing outside in the cold! I have pictures of all of them. Anyway, hope you are doing well.
