About
Growing up on a ranch outside the three hundred person village of Bluff Dale, Texas much of my childhood was spent hay bale hop scotching, creek swimming, and tree climbing. Great pleasure was also derived from forcing my little brother to play dress up with me while singing and dancing our way through the cow pastures.
The University of Texas at Austin greeted me where I picked up a degree in Radio/TV/Film. Along the way I managed to squeeze in studying abroad as well as interning at the Texas Capital, Austin Film Society , and Richard Linklater’s Detour Filmproduction.
After bidding Austin adios, I made the move to Los Angeles where I have been involved in many shorts, independent films, commercials, music videos, and plays as well as working at Nickelodeon Animation Studios, Meridian Development, and Mimi Webb Miller Casting.
When not submitting headshots, there's a strong possibility I'm beach cruising, traveling, cooking, gardening, hiking, writing, scuba diving, singing, contemplating the meaning of life, listening to KCRW, playing tennis poorly, touting the merits of Heal the Bay, doing a Sun Salutation, frolicking with friends, devising wacky Burning Man costumes, updating the Netflix queue, or petting my cat.
I’m a nice gal and a great host. You should cast me or at least give me large sums of money. : )
Cheers,
Jacquelyn
