About
Hello Everyone, First off my name is Mark, most people on the internet know me by my gaming alias: IonVein. I've been into gaming since I was a youngling, my father had a NES so I would watch him play or I would stand in front of the tv with the gun playing Duck Hunt shooting but never hitting anything. That's what started it all for me, then as I got older I would play Sega and SNES. I'm proud to say I have owned and played every video game system ever made. At the same time it solidifies my claims as a gaming addict.
A little bit of background on the man behind the controller, I'm 22 years old. I am very sarcastic but not the mean kind, more like if you aren't laughing around me than I am doing something wrong because I like to make people laugh. I grew up in a farm town on a street where well it was all my relatives so I was constantly playing video games or sports because there wasn't anything to do around here. Which also lead to my fascination with electronics.
I've tried to accomplish alot of things in my life, from my old spot as a Co-Host of a podcast that was based on PC games and products for PCs to my attempt at a Video Game show where I would go in depth and let people know whats coming out when and what really to expect. I also have the future goals as well, such as well being on a show about gaming and technology, and hopefully going pro with gaming. Who knows it could happen.
I'd post a paragraph about how much I love G4, but I'm not a suck up. Sure I do love the channel don't get me wrong, but I am not going to get my nose brown to win a competition like everyone else(No offense to others in competition just stating my opinion), If I lose, then I'll just try a different way to capture my dream of being on TV talking about what I love to many people, and then be able to look at my relatives and doubters and say "look I made it" because to all of them stuff like this is dumb or just a "hobby" and I want to prove that it's not just that and that it is much more.
Well I think that is a lot of stuff to read and I thank all those who stuck through it and didn't fall asleep. Win or lose this is one of those things that I would rather try and not succeed then sit back and get scare of losing and wonder "what if I tried". So thank you all and I know whoever wins deserves it and will do great.
~Mark
