About
I am NOT a model. I'm a real gamer so lets set the record straight on that. Getting this job would be a dream come true. Honestly. Please excuse the essay-- but this is me.
I'm a pretty cool, down to earth chick who loves to laugh and have a good time. I'm kinda dorky cuz I like comics, video games, cartoons and anime, buuut who cares cuz I'm a HOT dork hehe. I like to make up silly songs and I sometimes wear toe socks.
oh.. and I have a silly fear of Zombies.. ugg.. I just hate them!
I suppose it all started with “Pigs in Space” for the Atari 2600, ever since then I have been an avid gamer. Gaming has always been a apart of me and has always been something close to my heart. I remember playing “Super Mario Brothers”, “The Legend of Zelda” and”Dragon Warrior" with my mom and thinking: “I’m playing video games with my mom! Ohhh time to kill some slime.”
Those are some very happy and frustrating (yes frustrating-- Super Mario Brothers felt HARD back then) moments in my life. I remember the absolute joy I felt unwrapping a Nintendo for Christmas. I remember the heart-stopping fear I had playing the “Friday the 13th” game for the Nintendo (I know, it’s not scary NOW but it was scary back then!).
In my household I have a Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Genesis, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, Playstation, PS2, Gamecube Xbox, Xbox360, a DS, PSP and are am on the way to owning a PS3 and a Wii.
I’m so passionate about gaming that I’m producing a new show that I hope will change the face of gaming shows. It’s funny to me that I went to college for a degree in Musical Theater and here I am choosing to make gaming my career.
When I think about it, this is what I want to do. This is where I want to be. It's exciting! This is what I’m passionate about.
I want girls to not be embarrassed when playing video games. It doesn't matter what you look like. I'm an actual normal gaming girl who works a 9-5 job and comes home and plays video games.
I used to think I had to sit down and let the boys win. My thought process was: “If I win. They won’t like me.” Hell no! Gaming has given me the confidence to not care about what other people think. I’ve learned that girls can kick butt and I want other girls to believe that!
