I'm a chef, culinary educator, single mom, food geek, dancer and artist who is on a mission to host her own cooking show and become the next BIG food star.

I have worked in some aspect of foodservice since I was a teenager. My first job was as an ice cream counter girl in a polyester uniform at Howard Johnson's. Since then I've been a bartender, cook, dishwasher, manager, hostess, sales person and caterer.

I'm passionate about ethnic food from the African Diaspora and beyond. I love being in front of an audience cooking and having fun.

I'm a professionally trained Chef - Ecole Superieure de Cuisine, Paris and Johnson & Wales University, Providence, RI. 
 
My area of expertise is in "Ethnic Chic Food" from the Caribbean, West Africa, South Africa, and South East Asia.  
As a caterer, I created hundreds of menus and I'm quite proficient at creating quick, easy and delicious meals.  
 
I have a demonstrated ability to educate and entertain. After many reruns of a recent appearance on a local food show, I've become slightly famous in my community. I love when people recognize me from the show and start asking me questions about what to eat or cook for dinner. I'm looking forward to showcasing my talents on national television.
