I am 42 years old and am a Model for John Casablancas in Berlin, CT. I have only done some promotional work for them, and not in quite some time. I took tap and jazz lessons for a good portion of my life and always desired to dance on Broadway. My parents would not allow me to do so. I have also taken acting classes and was a cheerleader from fifth grade all the way through high school. I can also sing. I always wanted to be in show business, as I love to "perform" and entertain people. Everyone always tells me that I have "missed my calling". I had a small part on television many years ago, and was recently asked to play a tiny role in a movie. I am also a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of ELKS of the USA, a member of the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars of the USA) and a member of the American Legion.

I am an Executive Assistant, supporting 2 Directors and over 100 software engineers for my full time job, and in my spare time, I volunteer on several activities committees for the Elks.

Lauderdale, Sunday, I have been invited to audition for a comedy troupe that wants to revive "In Living Color" on the CW network and it sounds somewhat promising. Monday, I am going into a pre-production script reading of a movie that will start shooting in March or April of next year. So there is lots of things going on. The role in the movie I am up for is about a well-to-do married man. They haven't cast the wife yet. Would you be interested if I can get the producer to buy you a plane ticket to come and read for it?

I have an update with some things that went on with the "She's Got The Look" Casting Call. This was the strangest situation. We had a miscommunication with the Casting Director on this casting which hasn’t really happened before, although he did send us a message acknowledging the miscommunication.  
 
He gave us the casting which we posted and then later told us that he would only review people that were at the actual casting call in New York. Had we known that, we would have just posted it as such. We have anywhere from 200 – 300 active casting calls at any moment, and there is no incentive for us to post misinformation on the site for any casting.  
 
In any other case we simply forward the candidates directly to the casting director to contact. Last week, for example, E! Entertainment Television called back 14 of our submitted talents for auditions.  
 
If we had known that our members from outside the cities holding open calls were not going to be reviewed, the call would have been on the open board with many of the other opportunities we have on the site that don't deal with our electronic submissions. However, we contacted the producers of the show and still submitted all of our members and have communicated the misunderstanding with the casting directors on the project.  
 
This is the 1st time anything like this has happened with one of our featured castings, so I just wanted to reach out to everyone and offer our apologies for the mixup.

They just want you to sign up, (for a fee of course) and then they will supposedly submit you for the casting. Overall I am loosing faith. I am happy however that I have been able to meet some nice people such as yourself. Maybe someday we will be able to work together or help each other... I dunno, always, Keith

I never did make it to the Casting call in Dallas or Chicago as I have been sick. I guess it just isn't meant to be. (Maybe next year). Good luck to you.

I thought it was way to good to be true and I often remember the member who wrote and said that he doesn't believe voting would help, but again I ignored his response and kept rallying away for votes.
