About
My parents named me Daena (Diana) Estebania Rosa. You can't get more hispanic than that. I come from a family of 10 children and I'm also rare mix. My fathers from Dominican Republic and my mother from El Salvador. I was born and raised in Freeport on Long Island, NY. Being from 2 hispanic countries that are different in there own ways helped me become who I am today. Things that are normal in one country is the complete opposite in the other. For example in the Dominican culture, as a female going to parties and drinking is normal and known through out the country. In the Salvadorian culture, however, going to parties and drinking as a female is against all rules. So I had to adjust and find an equal ground to accomodate both sides. Growing up in that New York environment also put a twist to my situation. As a child I was taught the difference between right and wrong. Having a strong independent mother who worked 2 jobs and a father that worked 12 hour shifts at a time, gave me the willpower to succeeded in life. As an adult I've gone thru a whole lot of ups and downs but thats just life. All you can do is live, learn and move on. With Gods help, I will be a success in the entertainment industry. People will know who Daena Rosa is.
