It all started out when I was little. I was doomed to be a gamer. My father gamed, my uncle gamed, my cousin (my age) gamed, and my step brother gamed. It was only natural that I do the same.
I remember playing Atari. It was so long ago, I can only explain the kinds of games I played, not remember their names.
Then I moved up to Sega and would constantly play the Goofy game and also Sonic the Hedgehog like it was going out of style.
I didn't completely get attached to gaming until I played N64's Zelda: Ocarina of Time. That game completely blew me out of the water and remains one of my favourite to this day, probably because it had such an impact on how I viewed games.
Later I got into FF 7 and 8, Xenogears, Crono Cross and quite a few others that were similar. While they kept my attention, I wasn't really considered a "nerd" until I started playing Ultima Online about 7 years ago. The amount of time someone can spend on that game is truly fascinating, and I think I broke all the records when it came to that.
While I still play many console games with friends, online MMO's are one thing I haven't stopped playing yet. I recently moved on from Ultima Online to World of Warcraft and plan on trying out Warhammer when they finally decide to release it :P
I'm proud to say that I play video games and enjoy each and every moment of it! Whether I play them alone or with a group of friends, I've always considered them fun and probably always will.
